Outdoor furniture production workflow for B2B project buyers.
A structured 6-step workflow for hotels, commercial projects, wholesalers, and OEM / ODM buyers. From RFQ review to final container loading, each stage is built around confirmed specifications, buyer-visible checkpoints, quality control, and export readiness.
What buyers can verify before moving forward.
B2B furniture procurement is not only about price. Buyers need clear specifications, commercial terms, production updates, inspection records, and export readiness before moving to the next stage.
Specification lock
Size, material, color, cushion, packing, and project standards are confirmed before PI or sampling.
Cost visibility
Quotation scope, trade terms, CBM, packing method, and extra cost items are listed clearly.
Quality evidence
Production photos, sample review, in-process inspection, and pre-loading checks reduce uncertainty.
Shipment readiness
Packing list, carton marks, loading photos, export documents, and forwarder coordination are prepared.
From inquiry review to container loading.
Each step below shows the buyer input, XIMU Furniture output, and the decision checkpoint before moving forward. This gives importers, hotel project teams, and sourcing managers a clearer order trail.
Inquiry & Consultation
Every successful project begins with clear communication. Your inquiry is reviewed by a project contact who checks product scope, usage environment, quantity, material direction, timeline, and destination.
- Requirement analysis: hotel furnishing, wholesale program, retail line, or private OEM project.
- Design preferences: reference images, mood boards, material expectations, and market standards.
- Budget and volume: align target pricing, MOQ, container plan, and estimated lead time.
Design Review & Quoting
Engineering and cost teams translate your requirements into manufacturing data while keeping the quotation transparent. This stage reduces mistakes before sampling or deposit payment.
- Technical drafting: AutoCAD shop drawings or 3D review can be prepared when required.
- Material selection: confirm teak, aluminum, rope, rattan, fabric, foam, and coating options.
- Formal quotation: PI can include unit price, EXW / FOB terms, CBM, packaging, and lead time.
Sample Development
Prototype development verifies structure, comfort, material, finish, weaving, upholstery, and overall presentation before committing to bulk production.
- First article: prototype is produced according to confirmed drawings and material direction.
- Digital or physical approval: HD photos, video walk-around, or DHL / FedEx shipment can be arranged.
- Revisions: comfort, finish color, stitching, cushion, and details can be adjusted before approval.
Mass Production
After PI confirmation and deposit, bulk material preparation and production begin according to the approved sample and agreed specifications.
- Standardized assembly: controlled workflow supports batch consistency and repeat orders.
- Progress updates: account manager can provide frame, weaving, upholstery, and packing status.
- Schedule control: confirm the production schedule after reviewing the order details and factory workload.
Quality Inspection
Quality control is handled before production, during production, and before loading. Third-party inspection can be supported when buyers require external review.
- Internal QC: frame, welding, coating, weaving, upholstery, assembly, and finish checks.
- Pre-shipment inspection: finished goods, accessories, labels, carton marks, and packing list review.
- Third-party support: SGS, TUV, Bureau Veritas, your sourcing agent, or appointed inspector.
Shipping & Delivery
After QC approval and balance payment, our logistics team coordinates export packaging, container loading, shipping documents, and communication with the buyer or forwarder.
- Professional loading: export packaging and container loading are planned to reduce transit risk.
- Export documentation: B/L, commercial invoice, packing list, and certificate of origin can be prepared.
- Freight coordination: FOB, CIF, CFR, or buyer-appointed forwarder workflows are supported.
